  • No. Our spatulas have a strong stainless steel core inside, and are covered in LFGB Grade Wacker silicone on the outside. They are heat safe to 600F so won't melt if you leave them resting on a hot pan, or when making caramel or candy.

  • LFGB Grade means the silicone is tested annually to European LFGB food safety standards, which is a more stringent standard than FDA grade. Wacker is a German brand that supplies high quality raw materials to us.

  • Yes, these spatulas are dishwasher safe in the top rack. They are also super easy to clean by hand, as food simply slides off. For increased longevity, handwash when possible.
